Slough 0-0 Weymouth. Neither side did enough to claim all three points and it's a fair result.

With Slough having nothing to play for and trying new faces and formation line ups there was always going to be a lack of fluidity in their game, and for the 2nd game in a row this coincided with a lack of goals for the rebels. Weymouth on the other hand were just 5 points off the play off positions and looking to replicate their fine 6-1 against Slough in December.
The 1st half was full of good football but lacked any real clear cut chances, Warren Harris firing a shot which hit the stanchion of the goal when played in by brother Scott. Weymouth then had a good effort as the enigmatic Shepherd ran at the defense before shooting from 25 yards out, forcing a flying save from the acrobatic Scott. Dhillon then stormed into the box after trading passes with Putman but drilled his cross-cum-shot wide and then Warren Harris, plying his trade upfront, fired wide across the goal.
The 'TERRAS' then began to take control of the game, with Evans shooting wide after creating the opportunity himself and Shepherd had a cross blocked by the impressive Dhillon. Just before half time Weymouth had a free kick but the cross lacked any penetration HALF TIME 0-0.
Ryan Hope was influential in midfield and had the first effort of the 2nd half shooting the wrong side of the post from 25 yards out. Weymouth then had the next few chances with Cooper taking aim from distance but straight at Scott, then Molesley tamely shot at a well placed keeper. The 2 sides then traded efforts and yellow cards as Putman curled a shot at the keeper and Shepherd saw a drive blocked by Dhillon. Gurkan Gokmen had come on as a sub but didn't affect the game until late on,playing Barney in on goal only to blaze over and then with the best effort of the game for Slough, when he turned and fired a drive which keeper Matthews saved at full stretch. The last chance of the game fell to substitute Brown for Weymouth whose powerful attempt was gathered at the 2nd time after Scott had dropped the first FULL TIME 0-0.
The game really didn't deserve one side to walk away with all 3 points but a lenient referee let a lot of challenges go unpunished but to his credit did book Shepherd for a blatant dive.
