Hi all,
Our annual sponsored walk is fast approaching and will take place on the day of our last home game at Beaconsfield on Saturday 16th April.
We've decided on an historic walk through the history of the Club, with a start point at the previous ground share at Windsor 14 miles from Holloways Park, onto the old site of the Dolphin greyhound stadium and then to the second start point at Wexham Park stadium. From there it is 8 miles to Beaconsfield via the new Arbour Park site, the old 'Slough Centre' site and the Farnham Park home of our youth sections.
We've set up a PayPal donation button on our website events page which also has all the details on the route. www.sloughtownsupporterstrust.co.uk/events
I'd appreciate it if you could promote this amongst the myfc members so we can raise lots of money which will be split between the Trust and local charity Sebastian's Action Trust which helps families of seriously ill children.
Even I will be participating in this annual event, only because we stop at a pub on the way, so would be really grateful if anyone who has enjoyed (or hated) a commentary and would like to see me suffer then please dig into those pockets and donate to 2 worthy causes.
