With this season a month away from completion, the Rebels face another trip against a team with something to play for, Slough will be hoping for a change in luck that has deserted them recently. Kettering have had a good first season in the Southern Premier and with a couple of games in hand on their rivals, they look to challenge for a playoff place this Saturday coming up against a Slough side that are experimenting as they have nothing but pride to play for.
Kettering sit just 4 points from the playoffs and have 6 of the last 9 games to play at home, a place where they have only lost twice in the league so far, and the 'Poppies' currently sit top of the form guide winning 6 and drawing 1 of their last 8. Slough on the other hand have only won one of their last 8, a 1-0 victory over Dunstable, and have only 6 points out of a possible 24. The two sides met at Holloways Park earlier this month in a game Kettering took the 3 points with a 3-1 victory.
Slough will welcome back for the Easter matches Charlie Mpi but will be without Dan Hicks and Nathan Webb, and with goals scored a problem at the moment Mpi's return will hopefully rectify this while the defence look to continue it's fine form with Guy Hollis set to return after missing Bideford due to work commitments.
Latimer Park, Kettering's adopted home, does not have the best facilities for Radio Rebels as we have been informed we will more than likely be outside and with the weather looking wet and windy we may not be able to broadcast but will see on arrival.
